The architectural principle of sufficiency is consistently applied in the Waldegg cloakroom building, right down to the wet rooms. In order to minimize the energy required for hot water preparation despite high usage peaks, highly efficient Joulia shower channels of models 10P and 3P were installed. These recover heat directly from the draining shower water to preheat the cold water flowing in. This decentralized heat recovery massively reduces the energy consumption per shower, which perfectly complements the efficiency of the central 5000-liter storage tank. In this way, the building remains true to its guiding principle: maximum effect with minimum use of resources.
