Joulia-Inline
Thanks to ever stricter regulations on the building envelope and consequently thicker insulation, energy consumption for heating has been massively reduced over the past decades.
However, the energy requirement for hot water remains constant.
Due to the increased hygiene requirements and ever larger overhead showers, it can even be assumed that the energy consumption for hot water – and especially for showers – will increase even more
Nowadays a household needs the same amount of energy for hot water as for the entire space heating system.
Time to “plug” the last big hole in the insulation. Because it really makes no sense to produce a lot of hot water with valuable energy, which we dispose of after only two seconds of use.

Door-opening event at Joulia.
On 25 November 2021, the first door-opener event took place at Joulia in Biel. Together with energie-cluster.ch and Swissframe AG, we dedicated an evening to the topic of heat recovery. Speakers from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, s3 GmbH, Franz Kaldewei GmbH + Co. KG and ACO AG gave presentations and were there afterwards at the Networking & Apéro to answer questions and present their latest products.

Concrete shower surfaces can also be combined with Joulias WRG. These modules (shower trays or entire prefabricated wet rooms) are also made to measure or offered as a standard product (140x90x15cm). Dade Design AG from Altstätten SG/Switzerland will be pleased to offer you the corresponding concrete shower surfaces with Joulia heat recovery.
Customised shower drain - large space concept
Instead of draining each shower head individually into a shower channel, the Joulia Twinline with its double heat exchanger forms the centrepiece of the drainage system. The side inlet plates are made to measure and channel the still-warm shower water into the heat exchanger. This allows the shower floor to be designed as a simple inclined plane, and a continuous grate from wall to wall forms the end of the drainage system.
ACO AG from Netstal will be happy to offer you the corresponding ACO ShowerDrain Public X with heat recovery from Joulia.
